Eric

Last week we had the pleasure of meeting with Eric Teply. In 1997, Eric was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease called Familial Adenomatous Polyposis. This disease causes numerous polyps to develop in the small and large intestine and also prevents the body from stopping those polyps to turn cancerous. Eric has been battling complications due to FAP ever since along with his 10-year old son who inherited the disease.

In May, a tumor in Eric’s stomach and several spots on his liver were discovered. Eric is battling as bravely as ever, but, unsurprisingly, the medical bills have begun to add up. STAC was pleased to assist with $400 worth of groceries. We wish Eric, his son, and his whole family the best and a speedy recovery.
